As of 2026, these quests remain a rite of passage for any Wanderer who wants to unlock scenery changes, remove sandstorms, and fight oversized birds.

We Promise, We Deliver 📦
This is the first Exploration Quest that appears after the Ominous Star Main Quest. However, it only unlocks at Union Level 10. The player must check the Wanted Poster in the bulletin to start it. After that, opening the in-game mail reveals a message from Lollo Logistics. That message continues the quest navigation and leads the Wanderer to the Jinzhou branch of Lollo Logistics. The quest is quite long, so even the original guide had to split it into another post. 
Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life ⛏️
Available after completing We Promise, We Deliver, but locked until Union Level 15. The player starts by talking to Xiayou at the Ministry of Development under The Grand Library in Jinzhou. This quest drags the Wanderer to the Tiger's Maw Mine. There is a lot of walking here and there, but it is simple and has no complex puzzles. The only hard puzzle is the Signals Console, where consoles need activation. The images above provide the solution. After that, following the quest navigation to the end completes the quest. 
When the Forest is No Longer Dim 🌳
This quest is added after Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life, but only starts at Union Level 20. It leads to Giant Banyan and changes the scenery at the end. The player must follow quest navigation and search for a missing researcher. Using the Sensor utility tracks her down, or one can peek at the image for her location. Then comes the first puzzle: Clear Toxic Spores: Offshoot Core. The trick is to hit drones using melee or ranged attacks. Ranged is better; holding right click enters aiming mode. The drone changes direction toward the Offshoot Core. There are three contaminated areas, so this puzzle appears two more times. Same mechanic, so no headache. At the last contaminated area, three simple Signals Consoles appear. The images show the solution. 
Shadow of the Past 🦋
This quest becomes available after Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life, but there is a requirement to wait for Xiaoyu's message. The original guide notes it unlocked automatically after 24 hours, or reaching Union Level 21, or completing Silver-Haired Echo Trainer III. The author was not fully confirmed which condition triggers Xiaoyu's message, but the 24-hour one is a safe bet. In this quest, the player eliminates Chrysalises at three different locations. Of course, all enemies surrounding them must be defeated too. After that, more and more battles ensue, with no puzzles anymore. Just follow the quest navigation. 
Stygian Lacrimosa 🌪️
Added after When the Forest is No Longer Dim, but unlocked at Union Level 25. In the end, this quest removes the sandstorm near the Fallen Grave, allowing free exploration. The first puzzle is restoring a mural. It is not hard, but the full mural image helps. The main mechanic is Mud. The player receives an Ultrasonic Pulse Chip as a Utility to clear mud and also clear the Mud Shield on enemies. There are three locations where all suppressors must reach 100% activation progress. To do that, clear all incoming mud and enemies. Finally, the player faces Mourning Aix, so bringing the best team is wise. After that, the quest completes.

In 2026, Wuthering Waves has grown and changed, but these five Exploration Quests remain a solid checklist for any completionist. They offer scenery changes, sandstorm removal, and a boss fight that will make a team sweat.
